Madeline West Antiques
Madeline West Antiques was established in 1965 by Madeline West. She first operated her business in Rockville Centre, New York before moving to Connecticut in 1967 where she operated for a brief time in Brookfield. In 1968 Madeline moved to the Benjamin Proctor property at 373 Main Street South, Woodbury where the shop is currently located. In the early 1800's, Mr. Proctor operated a business on this property until the present residence was constructed around 1850 by the Tomlinson family.
Today Madeline's shop offers a wide variety of interesting and unique European, American and Asian art, porcelain, and furniture dating from the 18th through early 20th century. It is a delightful experience to meander through our five beautifully decorated rooms that will take you back to a time of quiet elegance. So please come visit the current owner Cynthia West Pollock who is looking forward to meeting you.
